Your Patients Are Asking the Hard Questions

Illness, treatment, and recovery bring spiritual questions to the surface in a way almost nothing else does — whether it’s a cancer patient mid-treatment, someone in a long rehab stay, a patient nearing end of life, or a family navigating a serious diagnosis. Patients wrestle with things like “why is this happening to me,” “is God still there,” or “I’ve believed my whole life, but I don’t feel close to God now, when I need it most.” Your staff sees this constantly, but chaplaincy resources are often stretched thin, and not every patient wants — or has access to — a traditional pastoral visit.

DoubtLess Faith can be a resource alongside what you already offer, not a replacement for it.

Who I Am

I’m Kristen Davis, founder of DoubtLess Faith. I hold a PhD in Philosophy of Religion, an MA in Christian Apologetics, and a BS in Religion with a focus in Biblical Studies. I’ve spent over a decade helping people work through doubt, disconnection, and the hard questions that surface around illness, suffering, and mortality — meeting people exactly where they are, without an agenda, whether they have years ahead of them or very little time left.

This work isn’t tied to a specific denomination or church, and it’s not evangelism. It’s a space for patients to process real questions honestly, at their own pace, whatever their prognosis or length of stay.

Ways We Might Work Together

Individual sessions — for a patient wrestling with faith questions who wants more time than chaplaincy or clinical staff can provide, including end-of-life and hospice care
Group sessions or a recurring presence — a regular offering for patients who want a space to talk through these questions together, in-person or by video for those unable to attend
Staff training or a workshop — helping clinical and care staff recognize spiritual distress and know how to respond, without needing to have the answers themselves
A resource for families — many families carry their own version of these questions while supporting a loved one through illness, recovery, or a terminal diagnosis; this can extend to them as well

Let’s Talk

If this could serve your patients, families, or staff, I’d love to discuss what a partnership could look like for your organization.
