Relationship with God Workshop (Virtual)
Event Navigation

One of the unique aspects of Christianity is that we are able to have an intimate relationship with God. The Bible speaks of people being friends of God, Christians are children of God, Believers are indwelt by God, yet sometimes our understanding of what it looks like to have a relationship with God is uni-directional (one way) and has no behavioral difference from any other religion that has a holy text.
Join me for a deep dive into this unique aspect of Christianity. We will explore the personhood of God and look at some of the things that stand in the way of us developing a bi-directional relationship with the God of the Bible.

FAQ
Who would benefit from this?
If you are someone who desires a deeper relationship with God than you have than this is for you. 👀 Whether you have no relationship, used to have a relationship but God feels distant, or are somewhere in between we can help you identify and take the next step into intimacy with God. 🔎
What will we cover?
We’ll begin with a discussion of who the Holy Spirit is in relation to God and humans. 🧍 Then we’ll take a look at what interaction with God looks like throughout the Bible as different people interact with him. 🫶 Finally, we’ll discuss some common obstacles that get in the way of people connecting with God. 🪨
When you leave:
- You’ll know what relationship looks like with God.
- You’ll have a tool to identify what is getting in the way for you today that you can continue to use in future if you ever become disconnected again.
- You’ll have identified next steps for you to move from disconnection to connection.
- You’ll also have a tool you can utilize in your daily prayer life to shift you’re prayer life from talking at God to communing with God.
What if I'm a cessationist?
No problem! Orthodox Christianity holds to the position that every believer is indwelt with the Holy Spirit. 🕊️ We’re pressing into that idea to help people identify why they feel disconnected from the Holy Spirit that indwells them and to inspire those who have yet to become believers to see what God desires for them.
Shouldn't Christian things be free?
Some things to consider:
We pay people for medical advice (doctors), nutrition advice (nutritionists), relationship advice (counselors), fitness advice (personal trainers), business advice, financial advice, sports advice, parenting advice, public speaking advice, career advice, SAT prep advice, and so much more. If we’re willing to pay for advice from professionals in temporary pursuits, then why shouldn’t we be willing to invest in getting advice about eternal things? ✨
Everyone has expenses and there are only 24hrs in a day. If coaches have to work a different job to earn a living then they are limited in the number of people they can help, due to the number of hours they have to allocate to their paying job. If they can receive an income from coaching, they are able to help more people. 🥑🏠🚙
Is this putting a financial barrier between people and God?
The Gospel is free and available to everyone. If you’ve never heard the Goodnews (Gospel), I encourage you to read the book of John in the Bible to learn about who Jesus is and what he did to restore humanity to himself. ✝️
There are tons of Christian resources in apologetics, theology, and the impact of emotions on spiritual things available through books, videos, websites, churches, bible colleges, and seminaries. You can find everything I provide if you are willing to put in the leg work. 📖👩🏫💻⛪⏳
I’ve spent over 15 years and over $60,000 to come to the place I am in my walk with Christ. I came to the place I am today through colleges, churches, 1-1 coaching, group coaching programs, books, articles, and lots more. You’re welcome to walk the path I walked, but if you’d like someone to help you get your questions answered in a more direct way, then I’m happy to help.🫶
